Senior Manager, Performance Marketing Forecast & Analytics
We’re seeking a Senior Manager of Performance Marketing Forecast & Analytics to lead a team of analysts, managing data collection, analysis, and insights for performance marketing campaigns. This role is essential in driving accurate forecasting, optimizing strategies, and improving ROI. The Manager will provide actionable insights to both internal and external stakeholders, guiding the company to leverage data effectively for marketing success.
Skilled with creating the story and planning what the data is telling you through statistical analysis (key point), and then forecast the results for the future (second key point).
Key Responsibilities:
- Local Market Analysis: Conduct local market research to assess data metrics and gauge market potential, projecting outcomes and delivering reports with actionable insights to support campaign planning.
- Campaign Planning & Monitoring: Lead campaign forecasting and goal setting, create go-to-market strategies, and track daily/weekly performance to identify opportunities for campaign enhancement. Communicate findings and recommendations to the team.
- Analytics Creation & Maintenance: Develop and maintain marketing analytics frameworks, working with stakeholders to build dashboards, reports, and tools to track key metrics (CPM, CPC, CPE, CPA, ROI) and support decision-making. Proactively monitor trends and provide insights for performance improvement.
- Data, Attribution & Reporting Systems Management: Serve as the lead expert on marketing analytics systems, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility across platforms. Collaborate with IT and agency partners, document data processes, and manage tagging/tracking in platforms like Power BI, Google Analytics, Salesforce, and SQL.
What We’re Looking For:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or related analytics field (MBA or Master’s preferred).
- 7–10 years’ experience in analytics, preferably in marketing or finance.
Required Skills
- Ability to clearly communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences.
- Proficient with performance marketing tools (Google Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager, Data Studio).
- Knowledgeable in data quality best practices and analytics tools.
- Experience with BI tools (PowerBI preferred) and programmatic data management (SQL, Excel).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a team-oriented approach.
- Detail-oriented and adaptable to new technologies, ensuring accuracy in data-driven campaigns.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in data governance, project management, technical writing, and managing large datasets.
- Familiarity with BI, ETL, and visualization platforms like PowerBI, Tableau, and Domo.
